Dr Francoise Rutland
Hi I'm Francoise Rutland. I have been a clinical hypnotherapist in practice since 2001.
I am qualified as a hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner, treatments which I deliver through counselling sessions. I am also a university mentor.
Having studied psychology at University College London I went on to gain my hypnotherapy qualifications, Masters, and Doctoral degrees at University of Liverpool.
Meditation, Hypnotherapy and Counselling
I have a particular interest in combining methods used during meditation, hypnotherapy, and counselling to create a holistic overview of my clients’ needs and thereby offer a deeply effective treatment which they can carry on with them into their day.
My aim is always to allow the client to self-lead their own healing process, whether it is a conscious or subconscious process, with my focused direction. This ensures that the client is fully committed to healing and improving their situation.
I am a fully registered member of the British Institute of Hypnotherapy & NLP (BIH), being officially accredited by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNCH).
As a clinical therapist addressing a variety of psychological conditions I adhere to the UK Council for Psychotherapy Code of Professional Ethics and I am a member of the British Institute of Hypnotherapy & NLP, accredited by the CNCH.
I follow NICE guidelines and have full Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Hypnotherapy is a highly effective and efficient way of directly accessing the brain’s learning system. Access to this system is only ever achieved through the willing conscious and subconscious consent of the client. The therapist is simply there to effectively guide the process in the best way for the client’s needs, as identified during the confidential consultation.
During hypnosis the brain is allowed to relax and distance itself from distractions such as anxieties and worries, allowing a total focus on the healing process. It has been shown during rigorous medical scientific research using ECG scans that these distracting areas of the brain are switched off allowing the client’s energies to focus directly onto the issue they are addressing.
Research results have shown that the effect of therapy increases by around 10% during each subsequent session. The client gets more adapt at the method while any concerns about “how well the treatment is going” or if “they’re doing it right” fade away as confidence in their ability to heal and learn increases. By the end of the course clients will find that they are able to maintain the effects through the therapeutic methods they have learnt.
I offer fully confidential and personalised treatments addressing a wide range of issues including:
